A war-film of high calibre where only director Steven Spielberg managed to capture it in film. Tom hanks and co. followed him till the end and finished what seems to be one of Hollywood's best. With one of the greatest opening scenes in film history and the realism captured, its hard for one to believe such things can happen with not much visual treatment and with an estimated $70 million in budget. This film goes far beyond anyone's expectations, it takes you to places never before seen and a small role by Vin Diesel you would never expect. There is always the ''Spielberg-effect'' that draws everyone's attention and for all you Spielberg-fans and for those who haven't watched this ''greatest war-film'' ever made, this is a ''friday-killer'' all the way !!!
